The role

As a Machining Centre Operative, you will report to the Shift Leader. The Machining Centre Operative plays a key role in delivering high-quality components through the operation of large CNC machine tools. Working within a fast-paced machine shop environment, the role involves producing precision-engineered parts to strict specifications, ensuring all work meets required quality standards and production targets. The postholder will be responsible for interpreting engineering drawings, setting and operating machinery, and making program adjustments where required. Collaboration is essential, with regular interaction across production control, engineering, maintenance and quality teams to ensure smooth and efficient operations. The role

As Design Engineer you will support the design and development of new and bespoke products within a specialist manufacturing environment. You will work across the full product lifecycle, from initial concept through to manufacture, testing, and market launch, while supporting continuous improvement across products and processes.

Stephenson Gobin operates from a manufacturing facility in Bishop Auckland, County Durham.

The role

As a Design Technician, you will support the design team in the day-to-day running of the office, including design work on current products, providing technical support to external sales staff and taking ownership of the company New Engineering Request (NER) process. After training, you will be responsible for dealing with new internal product requests, product bill of material (BOM) changes, system development projects and assisting in answering technical queries, including creating customer drawings.

As Multimedia Designer you will be pivotal in driving product awareness and customer conversion through compelling multimedia presentations and marketing initiatives. You will possess strong skills in motion graphics, visual storytelling, and technical communication to effectively present our product range to a diverse audience.

You'll be responsible for executing marketing activity, creating engaging content, and ensuring consistent brand messaging across all touchpoints.   Supporting the delivery of campaigns, you'll manage day-to-day activity and help bring the CMP brand and messaging to life both internally and externally
